Fabric Bonding and Lamination Equipment

Fabric bonding and lamination equipment is specialized processing equipment used in garment production to bond fusible interlining with fabric through heat and pressure. Fusible interlining is a lining material coated with hot-melt adhesive. After heating and pressing, it adheres to the back of the fabric. When the fabric needs to achieve a certain stiffness or thickness, fusible interlining can be added to achieve the desired effect. It can also make fabrics that are too soft and difficult to handle easier to process. Fabric bonding is a key process in the production of suits, shirts, casual wear, and various other types of garments, helping the fabric achieve the required stiffness and stability.

Fabric bonding relies on precise control of three process parameters: temperature, pressure, and time. These three parameters need to work together to ensure that the fusible interlining and fabric achieve the required bonding strength while avoiding hot-melt adhesive leakage or fabric damage. A good bonding result is generally defined by a bonding coverage area of more than 90%, with no delamination or blistering after washing during the service life.
